David Atkinson

David Atkinson is the current Director of Planning & Regeneration at Harborough District Council. David has extensive experience in local government, having served as Team Leader of the Luton and Southern Bedfordshire Joint Technical Unit, Head of the West Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit, and Senior Planning Officer at South Bedfordshire District Council. David began their career as a Planning Assistant (Research) at Stafford Borough Council before moving to Swindon Borough Council as a Planner.

David Atkinson has a Master's degree in Management Studies from the University of Bedfordshire, a Master's degree in Town and Country Planning from Newcastle University, and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Geography with Theirtory from the University of Wolverhampton.
