Gail Bates

Gail Bates is an experienced professional currently serving as the Market & Events Manager at Harborough District Council since April 2022. Gail is also a partner at Trinity School Wear, a business founded to provide schools with affordable uniform options, stemming from involvement in a children's PTA. Prior to this, Gail held various positions at De Montfort Hall from March 2013 to April 2022, including Sales & Ticketing Manager, where responsibilities involved streamlining digital systems and enhancing customer journeys. Earlier roles included Box Office Supervisor and Senior Box Office Assistant at the same venue, along with experience as a Buyer at Fenwick Ltd and Section Manager at John Lewis. Gail holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Open University, completed in 2017, and attended Chesham Grammar School from 1989 to 1995.
