Harbour Shipping was the founder member in the Star Cargo Group, formed in 1983. Over the years, the company has developed from its origins of providing roll on roll off freight ferry bookings and customs clearance to a constantly expanding range of services to a diverse client base spread across the length and breadth of Europe. Today it operates comprehensive 24 hour services 7 days a week providing bookings on all major and most minor routes including the UK South Coast ports, the North Sea, Scandinavia and Mediterranean Seas. As an independent agent Harbour also provides UK customs clearance for both roll on roll off vehicles through the port of Dover and deep-sea container movements through the majority of the UK’s ports and airports. European toll tags and badges are provided with credit facilities on the transit of French, Spanish and Italian motorway networks and the Alpine tunnels, as well as our own Bureau de Change facility. Harbour Shipping has three offices located in both the Eastern & Western Docks Dover and STOP24 at the Folkestone Services on the M20 Kent. Both Dover Western and STOP24 offices are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and are staffed by experienced personnel.
