Argy Portokalaki

Argy Portokalaki is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Tax Structuring at HarbourVest Partners since June 2021. Prior to this role, Argy held the position of Vice President and Alternatives Tax Counsel at BlackRock from July 2018 to June 2021, and served as Senior Tax Manager at Morgan Stanley between January 2016 and July 2018. Argy’s career began with a role as a Tax Advisor at EY from November 2012 to January 2016, following an internship at the International Chamber of Commerce in 2012 and a traineeship at Karatzas & Partners Law Firm from April 2009 to August 2010. Argy holds Master of Laws (LLM) degrees from both Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, along with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
