David Morris

David Morris is a Managing Director in Tax Structuring at HarbourVest Partners, having joined the firm in June 2019 after serving as Senior Vice President in the same area. Previously, David worked at Fidelity Investments from July 2012 to May 2019 as Senior Tax Counsel, where responsibilities included advising on transactional, planning, and compliance matters across various investment structures. David's earlier experience includes various tax associate roles at Ropes & Gray LLP and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, handling complex tax issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and financial products. David also contributed to the media and communications sectors as a Senior Public Relations Officer for the Newport International Film Festival and a Senior Communications Associate at The Curtis Institute of Music. David holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Haverford College.
