Christy Hewatt Putala

Christy Hewatt Putala is an experienced coach and educator with a strong background in athletics and teaching. Currently a coach at Hard Exercise Works® and Level Up, Christy has been actively involved in coaching since 2017, including a role as JV Head Coach at First Baptist School, where daily practices were organized for a team of 10 players. Previous experience includes working as a Teacher Assistant at Charleston County School District, focusing on behavior modification and hands-on activities, and customer service roles at East Shore Athletic Club and Blue Ridge Cellars. Christy was awarded a full athletic scholarship to the College of Charleston, where leadership and team-building skills were honed as captain of the Division I Women’s Basketball Team. Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from the College of Charleston.
