Jerry Vasilatos

Jerry Vasilatos is an experienced freelance producer, director, editor, and creative consultant with a diverse portfolio in film, television, and multimedia. Since October 1993, Jerry has been affiliated with Nitestar Productions, offering creative consulting and production services. Currently, Jerry serves as a producer, commentator, and editor at Chicago Corner, a hyperlocal brand focusing on Chicago's civic engagement and politics, while also holding the position of Chief Operating Officer at American Ventures, Ltd. Since 2011, Jerry has managed operations for the SandPad™ ambulatory aid. Previous roles include city producer for the 48 Hour Film Project, campaign video producer for Chicago mayoral candidates, and various positions in media production. Jerry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production from Columbia College Chicago.
