James Erlacher has extensive experience in the hotel development industry. James is currently serving as Vice President of North American Development at Hard Rock International. Prior to this, they worked at InterContinental Hotels Group as the Regional Vice President of Upscale Development, focusing on new development, conversions, and license renewals in the Northeast region of North America. James also worked at AccorHotels as the Vice President of Development for the Americas and at Jumeirah Group as the Senior Vice President of Development, overseeing expansion and strategic development opportunities. Erlacher began their career at Marriott International, where they established the Western Regional Development Office and eventually became the Senior Vice President of Development, responsible for developing Marriott's full-service and luxury brands.
James Erlacher received a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. James also completed the Global Leaders Program at The Wharton School. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
