Sergiu Turcut has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming and digital industry. Sergiu started their career as a Junior Business Developer at Futarque A/S, where they were involved in finding business opportunities, product management, and marketing. Sergiu successfully raised funds through crowdfunding campaigns and attended conferences and industry events.

Sergiu then joined Tipico Co. Ltd as a Graduate Development Trainee in the Gaming department. Sergiu analyzed the casino players database, conducted cohort analysis, and calculated lifetime value. Sergiu also assisted in strategy development, segmentation, and campaign management using Qlickview and ExactTarget.

After that, Sergiu worked as a Gaming Data Analyst at Tipico Co. Ltd. Sergiu collaborated with various teams to interpret analytics needs, identify key performance indicators, and ensure reporting consistency. Sergiu analyzed and interpreted data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Sergiu then moved on to Betsson Group, where they served as a Gaming and CRM Manager. Sergiu managed multiple casino brands, led the Gaming and CRM function, and mentored the Marketing Coordinators team. Sergiu was responsible for retention budget, customer engagement tactics, strategic promotion planning, and brand differentiation. Sergiu also developed marketing automation strategies and personalized user journeys using Marketing Cloud.

Sergiu joined BetVictor as the Global Head of Commercial - Casino, where they headed the Games Management and Gaming Promotions teams. Sergiu established processes for game releases and marketing retention planning, managed the casino performance across multiple brands and territories, and was responsible for budgeting and insights.

Sergiu then worked at Markor Technology as the Director of B2C, where they had a comprehensive role in commercial development, operations, marketing, and product. Sergiu managed multiple teams across various verticals and jurisdictions and successfully launched gambling sites in Brazil, India, and Japan. Sergiu improved responsible gambling and anti-money laundering functions, implemented new processes, documented market entries, and obtained a sportsbook license in Gibraltar.

Sergiu then joined Delasport as a Senior Commercial Director (Contract), where they focused on developing the commercial function and selling Iframe and Turnkey solutions in regulated markets. Sergiu created a Sales Board based on automations and analytics and performed a Gap Analysis to improve the product in different jurisdictions.

Currently, Sergiu is working at Hard Rock Digital as a Commercial Director.

Sergiu Turcut's education history is as follows:

From 2007 to 2011, Sergiu attended Economics College "Partenie Cosma" Oradea and earned a degree in Economics and Accountancy.

From 2011 to 2014, Sergiu enrolled in Universitatea din Oradea, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce.

Sergiu then proceeded to join Aalborg University from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they completed a Master of Science degree in International Business Economics.

In 2021, Sergiu briefly attended Harvard Business School to gain expertise in Negotiation Mastery, specifically in the field of Business Administration and Management.

Additionally, Sergiu has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications such as Negotiation Skills from LinkedIn, a Certified Digital Marketing Professional - CDMP 8.0 from the Digital Marketing Institute, and Marketing Psychology: How To Influence Customers To Buy Now from Udemy. Sergiu has also completed courses on topics such as project management, leadership, customer success, gamification, and digital marketing from platforms like Udemy and LinkedIn.
