Meghan McCarthy

Meghan McCarthy has a vast work experience in the hospitality industry. Meghan held the position of Vice President of Operations at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento since May 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Hotel and Spa at Chumash Casino Resort from May 2017 to May 2019. Before that, Meghan was the Director of Hotel and Immerse Spa at MGM Grand Detroit from August 2013 to May 2017. Meghan also worked as a General Manager at The Goldbelt Hotel from August 2012 to August 2013, and at Island Hospitality Management from June 2011 to August 2012. Between 2010 and 2012, Meghan was an Instructor of Hospitality Management at Oakland Community College. Meghan also served as the General Manager at The MET Hotel from June 2010 to June 2011. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Front Office Operations at The Townsend Hotel from November 2004 to June 2010. Meghan started their career as the Owner of Vanity Nails from October 2001 to January 2004.

Meghan McCarthy holds a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies & Communications from Oakland University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Wisconsin Technical College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Resources and Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Meghan has obtained several certifications including Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE), and Certified SPA Supervisor (CSS) from AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. Meghan obtained these certifications in 2016 and 2020.
