Jessica Wehrman

Jessica Wehrman is an experienced journalist currently serving as Managing Editor for Politics and Leadership and Health Policy Editor at CQ and Roll Call since August 2019. Wehrman supervises a team of reporters and oversees the publication of daily newsletters on federal health policy. Prior to this role, Wehrman was a Transportation and Infrastructure reporter, covering critical legislation such as the bipartisan infrastructure bill and COVID-19 relief. Previous experience includes serving as Washington correspondent for The Columbus Dispatch, where coverage focused on Ohio’s congressional delegation, and Communications Manager for the American Association of Poison Control Centers, which involved initiating partnerships for content distribution. Wehrman's career also encompasses roles as a Washington correspondent for Dayton Daily News and a regional correspondent for Scripps Howard News Service, among other positions. Wehrman holds a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University.
