Philip David Kirkham is the current Chief Executive Officer at Hardide. Prior to their current position, they served as the Managing Director at Kingfisher Lighting from April 2011 to August 2012. Philip was responsible for industrial electrical lighting design, supply, and installation. From May 2007 to August 2008, they served as the Executive Vice President - Rotatives at Rolls-Royce. In this role, they were responsible for the £300m global operations and supply chain of rotating parts for Aircraft, Industrial and Marine gas turbine engines, with 2,000 employees across the UK, Germany and USA. From June 2000 to October 2006, they served as the Senior Vice President Metals Division at Firth Rixson. In this role, they were responsible for 3 Metals companies combined turnover £90m – Firth Rixson Superalloys (nickel superalloy VIM and ESR melting), Firth Rixson Castings (wear resistant iron castings) and Enpar Special Alloys (nickel alloy bar and sheet stockholder/distributor and hot forging, rolling and heat treatment) - predominately in superalloy products for aerospace and power-generation markets. 50% exports worldwide.

Philip David Kirkham has been in the industry for over 20 years. Philip has a wealth of experience in managing large operations and teams. Philip is a proven leader with a track record of success in growing companies. Under their leadership, Hardide has become a leading player in the wear-resistant coatings market.

Philip David Kirkham has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester and an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Management from the University of Derby.
