Blythe Cate

Blythe Cate is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood and elementary education. Currently serving as a Third Grade Teacher at Harding Academy since July 2020, Blythe previously held various positions at the EPISCOPAL SCHOOL OF NASHVILLE, including Lower School Reading Specialist and Founding Fifth Grade English & Language Arts Teacher. Additional experience includes roles at Nashville Classical Charter School as an Intervention Teacher and Kindergarten Co-Teacher, and prior student teaching and substitute teaching positions at Bellevue Middle School and Harding Academy. Blythe's educational credentials include a Master of Education in K-6 Instructional Practice and a Reading Specialty Endorsement from Lipscomb University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in English: Creative Writing from Hendrix College. Prior to a career in education, Blythe worked as a Graphic Designer and Marketing & Advertising Coordinator at At Home in Arkansas Magazine.
