Bee V. has a work experience that spans several roles in the visual effects industry. Bee started their career in 2002 as the Director of Animation at Digital Epic, where they directed and edited videos and shows for a television pilot. Bee also designed and implemented motion graphics for music videos and created DVD and menu graphics for Electronic Press Kits.
In 2003, Bee joined Blizzard Entertainment as a Lead Software Analyst, where they supervised and trained analysts for World of Warcraft combat testing and tested high-profile titles for graphic flaws and program functionality. Bee also served as a Technical Artist, conceptualizing and creating 2D effects for full motion videos and creating custom model and texture assets for World of Warcraft cinematics. In addition, they worked as an Assistant Editor, writing, directing, and editing video projects, as well as operating cameras for on-site and overseas events.
Starting in 2019, Bee worked as a Visual Effects Artist at Camouflaj, where they contributed to visual effects projects. Bee then joined Myr in 2022 as a VFX and Pipeline Consultant, consulting on VFX pipeline protocols, optimizing VFX assets, and providing documentation.
Bee's most recent position is as a VFX Artist at Hardsuit Labs, starting in October 2022.
Bee V. completed their Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Entertainment Art/Animation from California State University, Fullerton in 2003. Additionally, they pursued a course in Strata 3d Modeling and Texturing, focusing on 3d modeling, texturing, and animation. Furthermore, Bee V. attended the University of Southern California to study Film, Communication, Radio, and Television. The exact start and end years for these educational experiences are not provided.
