Thanh Pham

Studio Art Director at Hardsuit Labs

Thanh Pham has extensive work experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on art and environment design. They started their career as a 3D Artist at Motor Simulations, where they created 3D vehicles and racetrack levels. They then worked as a 3D Artist at Microsoft Game Studios, contributing to the development of environmental assets. At Midway Amusement Games, Thanh conceptualized and developed visually appealing environments using different game engines.

They joined Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies as an Art Lead/Senior Environment Artist, where they managed a team of artists and provided art direction for 3D assets and environments. Thanh also worked at Microsoft Game Studios/Turn10 Studios as a Senior Environment Artist, creating architectural and environment assets for Forza 5. They then moved to Monolith Productions (WB Games) as a Senior Environment Artist, responsible for spearheading artifact art creation.

Returning to Microsoft Game Studios/Turn10 Studios, Thanh served as the Environment Sub Lead for Forza 6, leading art production for visual spaces and pushing the boundaries of the game's 3D engine. They then joined Monolith Productions (WB Games) again as a Senior Artist, contributing to the creation of architecture and environmental art for Shadow of Mordor LOTR.

Most recently, Thanh Pham worked at Hardsuit Labs as a Lead Environment Artist and eventually became the Studio Art Director. In this role, they built the environment art department from scratch, implemented interdepartmental processes, and collaborated with high-level art direction and concept art to create visually stunning worlds.

Thanh Pham attended Oklahoma State University from 1996 to 1998, studying graphic design and architecture without obtaining a degree. Later, from 1999 to 2001, Thanh Pham attended The Art Institutes where they obtained an Associates degree in Computer Animation.
