Rob Taylor

Rob Taylor is president of Sonepar North America and is responsible for operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. Sonepar is an independent family-owned company with global market leadership in the B-to-B distribution of electrical products, solutions, and related services. Before joining Sonepar, Rob led the global sales and marketing integration efforts for Eaton’s acquisition of Cooper Industries. Prior to this role, Rob was the chief marketing officer for Cooper Industries. Rob worked for General Electric for 16 years prior to joining Cooper Industries where he most recently served as GM, Canada for GE’s Consumer and Industrial Division and president of GE Home Electric Products. Rob graduated from Bowling Green State University with a dual major in production and operations management and procurement and materials management. Rob also has a master’s degree in business administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
