Laura L. Henninger

Laura L. Henninger, Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2015. She is a managing attorney/owner of Henninger & Henninger, LLC in Bel Air. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of wills, trusts, and estate planning; estate and trust administration; elder law and disability planning; real estate law; and business transactions.

Ms. Henninger received a BS in economics and accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton, and earned a JD, with honors, from the University of Maryland School of Law. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Harford County Bar Association, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Women's Giving Circle of Harford County, and Chesapeake Professional Women's Network, Inc. Ms. Henninger also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Harford Bank.

Active in the community, Ms. Henninger's past leadership roles include vice-chair and grants committee chair for the Women's Giving Circle of Harford County, board member and secretary for Birthright Pregnancy Aid Center of Harford County, Inc., president and founding board member of Chesapeake Professional Women's Network, Inc., and board member and treasurer for ARC-Northern Chesapeake Region Foundation, Inc. Ms. Henninger is a graduate of the Harford Leadership Academy.
