Melissa Lambert has over 30 years of experience in the legal field. Melissa is currently serving as the Director of Legal Affairs at the Harford County Sheriff's Office, where they provide legal advice and training to the Sheriff, command staff, and other personnel. Prior to this, Melissa was the County Attorney for Harford County Government, representing and advising the County Executive and Administration in various legal matters. Melissa also held the position of Harford County Council Attorney during their tenure. Melissa's career began as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Harford County State's Attorney's Office before they moved on to work as a Deputy Attorney General at the Attorney General's Office in Delaware.
Melissa Lambert completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1982 to 1986, they attended Boston University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Following that, they attended The Catholic University of America from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Additionally, in March 2023, Melissa obtained a certification called the Force Science Certification Course from Force Science.
