Nick Laws

Nick Laws has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Hargreaves Lansdown since December 2009. In this role, Nick leads a cross-functional product engineering team focused on transforming marketing websites and enhancing platform-wide personalisation services. Previous positions at Hargreaves Lansdown include Head of Web Development, where Nick oversaw digital experiences with over 290 million annual visits and drove technology transformation towards a cloud-first strategy, and Development Lead, responsible for continuous improvement and technical authority over internal systems. Prior to this, Nick founded ManageMyServices Website Hosting, successfully developing and selling a web hosting service with over 500 customers. Nick holds an MBA and a BSc in Information Systems from Cardiff University, complemented by A-Levels in Computing, Business Studies, and English Language & Literature from New College, Swindon.
