Josef Fradkin

Josef Fradkin has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Josef started their career as an International Logistics Coordinator at Ohr Avner Children's Camps in Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan in 1995. Josef then taught high school in Sao Paulo, Brazil at Amazonas Brasil, where they also traveled to remote locations to provide educational and cultural programming. In 1999, they founded Askmoses.com, a creative project where they developed the program and built it out. Josef also served as the Managing Editor of Farbrengen Magazine, overseeing content, design, and distribution. Josef worked as a Program Coordinator at JCC from 2000 to 2001. Fradkin played a significant role in establishing the Chabad Scripps Ranch Community Center as the Founding Director from 1999 to 2001. Josef later become the Founder of Chabad Coronado Island from 2005 to 2007. Fradkin served in the Executive Management of Chabad of San Diego County from 2002 to 2007. Josef then joined Chabad Hebrew Academy in San Diego as the Head of School in 2008 before eventually transitioning to their current role as the Head of School at Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy in 2022.

Josef Fradkin completed their education in a variety of fields over the years. In 1997-1998, they attended Oholei Torah and obtained a BA degree. Additionally, in 2010, they studied Educational Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Fradkin also holds certifications as an Accreditation Team Member, which they obtained in March 2016, and as an Accreditation Committee Chairman, obtained in January 2010.
