Debra Lin

Debra Lin has an extensive work experience in the cosmetic industry. Debra currently holds the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Harklinikken since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Better Not Younger from April 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they worked as the VP of Research & Development at Younique Products from November 2018 to April 2021. Debra also held the position of Head of Product & Innovation at Better Not Younger from June 2018 to February 2020. Debra gained research and development experience in the cosmetic industry at e.l.f. Cosmetics from May 2015 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sr Chemist at L'Oréal from November 2012 to August 2014. Debra started their professional journey as a Principal Investigator and NSF EAPSI Fellow at Queensland University of Technology from June 2011 to September 2011.

Debra Lin has an extensive education history in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. Debra completed their doctoral (Ph.D.) and Masters degrees at Cornell University, specializing in ENG - Materials Science & Engineering. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), majoring in Materials Science & Engineering and minoring in Applied International Studies. During their time at MIT, Debra also participated in an exchange program with the University of Cambridge, where they focused on Materials Science & Metallurgy.
