Thomas "Kevyn" Kirven, M.Ed., currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Curriculum & Instruction at Texas A&M University-San Antonio and an Adjunct English Instructor at Alamo Colleges District. Since August 2017, Kirven has also held the position of District Secondary ELAR Instructional Coach at Harlandale ISD, focusing on aligning district goals with state standards and providing professional development for secondary teachers. Previous roles include English and ESL Teacher at Mccollum High School and the School of Science and Technology, as well as Ads Manager/Marketing Specialist for The Paisano, a student newspaper. Kirven's early career includes experience as a Corporate Educator and Artistic Director for Regis Corporation. Kirven earned a Master's degree in English and Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
