Brian O'Leary

Brian O'Leary currently serves as the Head of Medical at Harlequins and the Director at Setanta Performance Physiotherapy, providing expertise gained from over fifteen years in elite sports, including rugby union and football. Previous roles include First Team Physiotherapist for Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and Physiotherapist for Fiji Rugby Union during the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Additionally, Brian held positions such as Head of Performance and Head of Medical Services at London Irish Rugby Club and Head Physiotherapist at Ospreys Rugby Ltd. Educationally, Brian has pursued advanced studies, including an MBA from the University of Chester, a Certified Nutritionist qualification from Mac Nutrition University, a PgCert in Sport and Exercise Medicine with Distinction from UWIC, and an MSc in Physiotherapy with Distinction from the University of Southampton. Brian’s academic background is further complemented by a BA in Applied Psychology from University College Cork.
