Elsa Marta Soares

Elsa Marta Soares is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist currently working at Harley Street Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi, following a partnership with SpeechCare Center. Soares has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Speech and Language Therapist at iStutter Center and Head of Research and Development at Speechcare Center. Previous roles include Faculty Assistant at the University of Ghana and Adjunct Professor at both Instituto Politécnico do Porto and Politécnico de Leiria, where Soares contributed to health research and participated in international projects. With a PhD in Child's Studies from Universidade do Minho, Soares' expertise encompasses early intervention and special education, complemented by various positions in interdisciplinary teams addressing communication disorders in children.
