Julie Anna Potts

Julie Anna Potts is president and CEO of the North American Meat Institute, where she leads the implementation of all Institute programs and activities. She was elected to the Nationwide Board of Directors in 2021.

An agriculture veteran, Potts previously served the American Farm Bureau Federation as executive vice president, treasurer, and general counsel. She was also chief counsel of the Senate Agriculture Committee under then-Chairman Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas. Earlier in her career, Potts was an associate in two Washington, D.C., environmental law groups and clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge John M. Facciola in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
