Sylvia Gamboa

Sylvia Gamboa has extensive work experience in the education field. Sylvia currently serves as the Director of Guidance and Counseling at Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Counselor at South Texas ISD from 2014 to 2021. From 2005 to 2014, they held the role of Counselor at Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District. Sylvia'scareer in education began in 1996 as an English Teacher at La Feria Independent School District, where they worked until 2005.

Sylvia Gamboa earned their Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General at The University of Texas-Pan American from 1990 to 1994.
