Claude Gnanapragasam

Claude Gnanapragasam is an experienced software engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for the Digital Cockpit division at HARMAN International since May 2007. In this role, Claude spearheads the development of advanced speech recognition technologies and connectivity solutions, advising prominent global OEMs such as Stellantis, GM, and BMW on automotive technologies. Previously, Claude held various managerial roles within HARMAN, including Senior Manager and Manager of Software Engineering, where many contributions involved global team leadership and architectural innovation in speech recognition. Prior experience includes project engineering roles at General Motors and Nortel Networks, concentrating on benchmark testing and VOIP systems. Claude holds a B.ENG in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University.
