Prior experience includes serving as Head of Information Security Risk and Compliance at Syngene International Limited from February 2018 to January 2022, and Senior General Manager of Information Security & Data Privacy at VFS Global from August 2010 to January 2018, where responsibilities included driving Cyber Security and Technology Risk strategy across 144 countries and overseeing the global implementation of ISO 27001 certification across over 1400 locations. D C S Hariharan also held the role of GM - Information Technology Security Head at Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo B.S.C (c) from January 2008 to July 2010 and worked as Principal Security Consultant at Wipro from January 2002 to December 2007. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Anna University Chennai and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Periyar University.
