Jon Liesmaki

Jon Liesmaki has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jon is currently serving as the Director of Environmental, Health, & Safety at Harmon since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Medtronic from 2012 to 2018, starting as an EHS Manager and later being promoted to Senior EHS Manager. Jon also gained experience at Rogers Youth Hockey Association as the Mite Director from 2013 to 2018. From 2014 to 2017, Jon worked as a Scout at Pacific4 Sports Management. Jon also served as the Director of Player Development at Energy Hockey from 2011 to 2016. Jon's early career included roles as a Senior HSE Engineer at Honeywell - Aerospace from 2007 to 2012, an EHS Consultant at EORM from 2004 to 2007, and a Chemist at Medtronic Inc from 2002 to 2003. At Honeywell, they had responsibilities such as managing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and participating in emergency response teams. Jon'swork at EORM included providing environmental, health, and safety leadership for semiconductor manufacturing clients, while at Medtronic Inc, they managed various chemistry-related projects.

Jon Liesmaki completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Chemistry from Augsburg University, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Environmental, Health, & Safety at the University of Minnesota Duluth, which they completed from 2003 to 2004.
