Butiki Loliwe

Butiki Loliwe is an accomplished HR Executive with extensive experience in employee relations and human resources leadership, particularly within the mining sector. From October 2022, Butiki has been serving as HR Executive at Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited. Prior to this role, Butiki held several senior positions at AngloGold Ashanti from May 1997 to October 2022, including Vice President Group Employee Relations and Vice President Human Resources for the Africa Region. Notable achievements include designing comprehensive employee relations frameworks, spearheading significant cost-saving HR projects, and overseeing successful organizational transitions. Butiki has also contributed to various professional organizations, serving as President of the Association of Mining Industry Human Resources Practitioners and as a board member of AngloGold Ashanti Health (Pty) Ltd. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Executive Management from the University of Cape Town and a B Admin Hons in Industrial Psychology from the University of Fort Hare.
