Hugo le Roux

Hugo Le Roux is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in the mining industry. As Chief Financial Officer for South African Operations at Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited since November 2016, Hugo has previously held roles as Finance Manager at both Mponeng and Kusasalethu operations. Prior to this, Hugo was Financial Manager at Birrell Mining for a startup operation at Klipwal Mine and served as Finance & Information Leader at Anglo American Platinum, overseeing financial functions at Modikwa Platinum Mine. Hugo's career began at JCI Randfontein Estates, progressing through various financial roles, which laid a solid foundation in financial management. Educational credentials include a BComm in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pretoria and a Certificate in Leadership Development from Wits Business School.
