Juan Oosthuizen

Juan Oosthuizen is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in plant management and metallurgical operations. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Harmony Gold since August 2015, Juan has also held the position of Plant Manager at Kalgold under Harmony since January 2013. Previous roles include Metallurgical Manager at Blyvooruitzicht Gold Mining Ltd. from March 2008 to December 2012, and Strategic Business Unit Manager at Crown Gold Recoveries (DRDgold) from June 2005 to March 2008. Earlier in the career, Juan was a Plant Superintendent at Anglovaal Holdings Ltd. from 1995 to 1999. Juan holds a degree in Extraction Metallurgy from the University of Johannesburg (1985-1988) and an MMP in Business Administration and Management from North-West University (1999).
