Michael Niffenegger

Michael Niffenegger is currently the Senior Vice President and General Manager at HarmonyCares, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this, Niffenegger had an extensive career at Cigna from May 2012 to November 2023, serving in various capacities including Senior Director of Medicare Business Optimization and Affordability, Northeast Region Director of Strategy and Operations, and Chief Financial Officer for Global Individual Private Medical Insurance. Niffenegger was also involved in network operations as an Administrator at CareAllies. In 2023, Niffenegger completed a fellowship program with the Nashville Health Care Council, which focused on connecting influential leaders in the healthcare sector. Previous experience includes working as a Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate at KPMG. Niffenegger holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
