Laura McFadden

Laura McFadden has over seven years of work experience in the technology industry. Laura is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Harness since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Test Engineer III at Payroc from January 2021 to January 2022. From April 2018 to January 2021, Laura worked as a Senior Engineer at Flexera, where they served as the Test Lead for the ITV Visibility Project and coordinated testing across multiple teams. Laura was instrumental in implementing BDD approaches to component/service testing and E2E testing. Laura started their career at Citi in January 2015 and worked there until April 2018. Laura held the position of Officer/Intermediate Test Analyst and worked on the maintenance and expansion of an automated test application called Testrunner. During their time at Citi, Laura primarily worked with XML, XSLT, SQL, and Java. Laura was responsible for maintaining and expanding test packs in the automation tool.

Laura McFadden completed their Bachelor's Degree in English and Modern History at Queens University Belfast from 2006 to 2010. Laura then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education Theory at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2011. Later, they attended Ulster University from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Professional Software Development.
