Puneet Saraswat

Puneet Saraswat has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Puneet is currently the Senior Director of Engineering at Harness since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering from June 2020 to February 2022. Puneet also worked as the Engineering Manager at Harness from August 2019 to June 2020, where they founded the Continuous Efficiency product and built a successful engineering team. Puneet previously held the position of Engineering Technical Lead at Harness from January 2018 to August 2019.

Before joining Harness, Puneet worked at Microsoft for over a decade. Puneet served as the Principal Software Engineering Manager for the Azure Application Gateway team from February 2016 to January 2018. Puneet was also a founding member of the team. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2014 to February 2016, a Software Engineer 2 from December 2011 to March 2014, and a Software Engineer from July 2007 to December 2011.

Throughout their career, Puneet has gained expertise in areas such as Azure Networking, Application Gateway, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Load Balancer, and Web Application Firewall. Puneet'scontributions and leadership have helped companies create and optimize their products for efficiency and cost savings.

Puneet Saraswat completed their education in a chronological manner. Puneet first attended Aligarh Muslim University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a B Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering. After that, they enrolled in the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and graduated with an M Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Puneet obtained certifications in Software Defined Networking from Coursera in July 2014 and Social Psychology in September 2013, also from Coursera.
