Louai Elganimi has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Projects Engineering Superintendent and Project Manager at Harouge Oil Operations since September 2012. Elganimi leads efforts to mitigate the environmental impact of produced water in Harouge Oil fields in Libya, focusing on the disposal of produced water into loss circulation zones. Previously, from March 2001 to August 2008, Elganimi worked as a Site Mechanical Engineer, overseeing various projects at Amal fields, including new tie-in wells, tanks, separators, and water treatment plants. Academically, Elganimi holds a Master’s degree in Pipeline Engineering from Newcastle University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Tripoli University.
