Gary Richardson

Gary Richardson is an accomplished IT and transformation leader with extensive experience spanning over three decades in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Director of IT and Transformation at Harpenden Building Society since June 2021, Gary previously established Gary Richardson Consultancy Limited, offering specialized expertise in operational resilience, IT strategy, and cyber security. Notably, Gary spent over 30 years at Cumberland Building Society, where roles included Head of Operational Resilience and General Manager Information Technology, contributing significantly to various governance committees and leading transformation initiatives. Gary holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Loughborough University, earned between 2015 and 2018.
