Igor Shmelkin

Igor Shmelkin is a seasoned Project Engineer with extensive experience in equipment design and project management across various engineering sectors. Currently employed at Harper International Corporation since May 2008, Igor provides comprehensive expertise in engineering for large OEM projects, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. Prior to this role, Igor served as Principal Engineer at Ultra-Scan Corporation from 2001 to May 2007, where responsibilities included leading the engineering team in the development of ultrasound fingerprint scanners and managing product design and improvement processes. Earlier, Igor worked at Griffin Automation from 1993 to 2001, successfully managing complex engineering projects with significant capital costs. Igor holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Don State Technical University, earned in 1985.
