Collette Miller

Collette Miller is a Partner at Harper Macleod LLP, specializing in the Public Sector and Social Housing team since April 2013, providing legal advice to Registered Social Landlords, local authorities, and public bodies in Scotland on governance and regulatory issues. Prior to this, Collette served as a Solicitor in the Litigation and Contracts Team at East Ayrshire Council from October 2009 to March 2013, representing the Council in court and advising on various legal matters, achieving notable settlements and contributing to policy-making. Collette began legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at East Ayrshire Council, gaining extensive experience in litigation and contract law, and also held roles as a Law Clinic Advisor and Research Assistant, showcasing a strong background in client representation and legal research. Collette holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from Glasgow Graduate School of Law, an LLB from the University of Strathclyde, and a BA Hons in Business Law from the University of Stirling.
