Sascha Cochran

Sascha Cochran has extensive experience in risk and compliance within the legal sector. Currently serving as the Legal Director of Risk & Compliance at Harper Macleod LLP since December 2017, Sascha advises fee earners and supports Partners and Directors on risk management while reviewing higher risk transactions in compliance with UK legislation and the Law Society of Scotland's practice rules. Prior to this, Sascha worked as a Solicitor - Complaints Investigator at The Law Society of Scotland from June 2010 to December 2017, investigating conduct complaints against Scottish solicitors. Earlier experience includes serving as a Solicitor for the Penrose Inquiry, where Sascha conducted interviews to gather evidence related to contaminated blood products. Sascha holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Diploma in Legal Practice (DipL.P.) from The University of Edinburgh.
