Elina Cohen

Elina C. is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in brand identity, book design, and art direction. As Principal of Elina Cohen Design since September 1995, Elina has developed a diverse portfolio that includes catalogs and print collateral. Since August 2020, Elina has served as Cover Designer for the Cowles Poetry Prize winning poetry books at Southeast Missouri State University. Elina's previous roles include Senior Designer at HarperCollins Publishers and Associate Art Director at Penguin Random House, as well as positions at other prestigious publishing houses such as HarperCollins, Simon and Schuster, and Penguin Random House. Elina holds an MFA in Writing from Goddard College, a BA in English and American Literature with a Minor in Law from Brandeis University, and has further education from the School of Visual Arts and the Center for Book Arts.
