Gillian Wise

Gillian Wise has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Gillian started their career at Gaylord Hotels as a Human Resources/Employment Staff Executive Assistant. Gillian later worked as an Anesthesiology Department Staff Assistant and Assistant to an Anesthesiology Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Gillian also held the role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer at National Seating and Mobility.

In 2008, Gillian joined I-DENTI-FIED Inc. as an Executive Assistant, where they played a key role in creating and shaping the business plan for the start-up company. Gillian also served as the editor of preliminary documents and letters for potential investors and clients.

Following this, Gillian joined Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, initially as an Intern, contributing several articles for their publications. Gillian later became the Administrative Staff Assistant and then the Assistant to the Publisher/Editor. Their responsibilities included contributing as a writer and proofreader.

Since 2010, Gillian Wise has been employed at HarperCollins Publishers, where they have held several roles. Starting as the Assistant to the Senior Vice President, Special Markets Department, they facilitated bulk orders for authors, author events, and premium/giveaways. Gillian then progressed to become an Associate Sales Representative, Manager, Senior Manager, and currently the Associate Director of Special Markets Sales. In their current role, Gillian oversees relationships with subscription box companies and author relations, coordinating with sales representatives from HarperCollins Christian Publishers in cross-selling initiatives.

Throughout their career, Gillian has demonstrated their organizational skills, creativity, and strong communication abilities.

Gillian Wise attended Belmont University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in History.
