Jeff Ramras

Jeff Ramras has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jeff is currently the Senior Director of Finance at HarperCollins Publishers since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cengage Group from December 2021 to April 2023, where they served as the Manager of Strategy & Transformation. At Cengage Group, they played a key role in recovering $50M of at-risk textbook sales and led an organizational re-design.

Before Cengage Group, Jeff worked at Kaplan Test Prep from January 2018 to September 2020, initially as the Director of Strategy & Finance and later as the Director of Finance for Technology, Product & Publishing. During their time at Kaplan, they successfully managed pricing tests, developed financial models and business cases, and led the innovation team that launched new products generating $4M in sales in the first year. Jeff also implemented a Refer-a-Friend marketing program.

Jeff's earlier work experience includes a role as a Senior Analyst in Finance & Planning at Panera Bread from February 2009 to December 2012, and as a Sales Support Analyst at Verisk Healthcare from July 2008 to January 2009.

Jeff Ramras has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategy and Business Analytics from NYU Stern School of Business, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Lafayette College from 2004 to 2008, earning a BA in Economics and Finance. Along with their formal education, Jeff also holds a certification in Intermediate R from DataCamp.
