Kamala Garrett

Kamala Garrett is a seasoned producer and executive producer with extensive experience in the audio and publishing industries. Currently serving as a Producer at HarperCollins Publishers since February 2025, Kamala previously held the role of Executive Producer and Audio Casting Director at TYDEF Studios LLC from March 2021 to December 2024, where responsibilities included managing vendor relationships, sourcing diverse talent, and improving production workflows. Additional experience includes freelance casting at SBH Productions, coordination roles at Kerley Family Homes and Banfield Pet Hospital, and co-founding K and E Pet Sitting. Kamala's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
