Basye Peek

Basye Peek is an experienced International Programs Manager and Communications Officer at Harpswell since June 2021, where efforts include managing comprehensive marketing strategies and overseeing a significant rebranding project that increased annual income by 40%. Basye previously served as an English Language Teacher with Teach For America, focusing on high-need populations, and founded a National Honor Society chapter at the school. Additional roles include Curriculum Development Consultant for The Harpswell Foundation, where Basye created six courses for a leadership program in Cambodia, and legal support during an internship at Hagar. Basye holds a Master's degree in Education from Lipscomb University and is currently pursuing a Master's in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
