Chris Burgess has a strong background in IT management and leadership. Chris is currently the Chief Information Officer at The Harrier Group, where they are responsible for all IT services, infrastructure, and software development. Chris Burgess has a diverse education history. From 2005 to 2009, they attended the University of Portsmouth and earned a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology. In 2012, they enrolled at the University of Warwick and completed a PgDip in Applied Management from 2012 to 2014.
In addition to their degrees, Chris has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Chris became a Certified Data Centre Manager (CDCM) from CNET in January 2013. Chris also received certifications in ITIL 4 Foundation and ITIL 4 Direct, Plan, Improve from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2022 and February 2023, respectively. Other certifications include ITIL v3 Service Operations in July 2011, CCNA in July 2010, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician in December 2009, Microsoft Certified Professional in November 2009, and ITIL v3 Foundation in December 2007.
Chris has additional certifications in ITIL v3 Service Design from ISEB, Lean Foundation from OEE Consulting, and Microsoft Innovator in Education from Microsoft, although the specific details of when and where they obtained these certifications are not provided.
