Tamara Grant

Tamara Grant has extensive experience in education and the arts, currently serving as a 7th and 8th Mathematics and Science Special Education Teacher at Harriet Tubman Charter School since August 2015. In addition, Tamara is a performing artist with the Tam Tam Dance Project since September 2016 and has been a Ballet and Jazz instructor at Asase Yaa School of the Arts since September 2012, specializing in classical ballet for all ages and intermediate jazz funk. Tamara also held the position of Math and Science CUNY Adjunct at Hostos ContEd from October 2018 to April 2019 and briefly taught at Stars of New York Dance in 2017. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Touro University (2016) and dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Dance from the University of Florida and New World School of the Arts PTSA (2010).
