Charles Young

Charles Young is an experienced architect with a robust background in various architectural roles spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an Architect at Harriman since October 2019, notable projects include renovations for the Maine College of Art and a new base camp facility for the Maine Appalachian Trail Club. Previous experience includes ten years as a Senior Architect at Richard Renner | Architects, focusing on community-oriented designs, and roles as Project Architect at Scott Simons Architects and Moser Mayer Phoenix Associates, where significant contributions included major renovations and new constructions in Maine and North Carolina. Early career experiences include roles as an Architectural Intern at CHR Associates and Robert J. Peterson, working on commercial and residential projects. Charles Young holds a B.A. from North Carolina State University, School of Design, and additional education from the University of Oregon.
