Diana Wetmore is the Vice President of Therapeutics Development at the Harrington Discovery Institute at University Hospitals, a position held since September 2015, focused on accelerating drug discoveries from academia into new medicines. Prior to this role, Diana served as the VP of Alliance Management, Operations, and Business Development at Beryllium, overseeing contract negotiations and scientific staff management. Diana also held the title of VP of Business Development & Alliance Management at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where the development of drug discovery investments was a key responsibility. At GeneProt, as Chief Technical Officer, Diana managed interdisciplinary teams in a large-scale proteomics effort. Additionally, Diana brought experience from Anadys Pharmaceuticals and Scriptgen Pharmaceuticals, contributing to project management and drug development efforts. Education was completed with a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary.
