Mary Asala

Mary Asala is a seasoned professional in immigration law with extensive experience managing immigration practice groups. Currently serving as Practice Manager for the Immigration Practice Group at Harris Beach Murtha since July 2024, Mary oversees operations support, workflow management, and technical training. Previously, Mary held roles at Harris Beach PLLC as Immigration Paralegal Manager and Immigration Paralegal, where responsibilities included supervising paralegals, training, mentoring, and preparing various immigration forms and filings. Mary began an immigration paralegal career at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP and has also undertaken translator roles, including freelance translation and positions at Servicios Internacionales de Negocio, S.A. de C.V. and Universidad de las Américas Puebla, supporting communication in legal and academic contexts. Mary holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and dual Bachelor's degrees in Italian Language and Literature and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Notre Dame.
